# Frequently Asked Questions

**When do I start earning?** Immediately. As soon as you receive USD+ tokens, you're earning yield from both lending markets.

**Do I need to claim yield?** No. Yield is built into the exchange rate—your USD+ tokens automatically increase in value. You realize gains when you withdraw.

**What APY can I expect?**

* USDC market: 4-6%
* BeatUSD market: 5-10%
* Blended vault APY: typically 5-8%

Rates vary with market conditions.

### Withdrawals

**How long do withdrawals take?**

Typically 1 day. Create a request, solver processes within 24 hours, assets sent to your wallet.

**Are there withdrawal fees?**

No. Queued withdrawals are completely free.

**What if the rate drops while pending?**

You're protected. Your minimum rate is locked at request creation. If rates drop below your minimum, the request is rejected and you get your USD+ back.

### Tokens & Transfers

**Why no instant withdrawals?**

To maximize yields (no idle reserves), eliminate fees, and ensure fairness through rate protection.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.hyperbeat.org/liquid-banking/usd+/frequently-asked-questions.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
