General
What is BeatPot?
BeatPot is a decentralized daily raffle built on HyperEVM. Players buy tickets for a chance to win prizes from a community-backed pool, while liquidity providers (backers) earn fees from ticket sales.
How long does each round last?
Each round lasts 24 hours. When the timer ends, a winner is selected using verifiable randomness.
Playing
How do I buy tickets?
Connect your wallet to the Beatpot
Approve WHYPE spending (first time only)
Choose how many tickets to buy
Confirm the transaction
Can I buy multiple tickets?
Yes. You can buy as many tickets as you want. More tickets = better odds of winning.
How are winners chosen?
Winners are selected using Pyth Entropy, a verifiable randomness service. The random number determines which ticket wins. Every ticket has an equal chance, and anyone can verify the fairness on-chain.
When can I claim my prize?
If you win, you can claim your prize anytime after the winner is announced. There's no time limit.
What happens to my money if I don't win?
Your ticket fees are distributed as follows:
~85% goes to the prize pool
~10% goes to backers
5% goes to referrers
~1% goes to the protocol
Backing (Providing Liquidity)
What is a backer?
A backer is someone who deposits WHYPE into the vault to fund the prize pool. Backers earn approximately 10% of all ticket fees.
What is BPLPT?
BPLPT (BeatPot Liquidity Provider Token) represents your share of the backer vault. When you deposit WHYPE, you receive BPLPT shares.
How do I earn as a backer?
You earn from:
Ticket fees (~10% of all tickets sold)
House wins (when no player wins, entries go to the vault)
Your earnings are reflected in the increasing value of your BPLPT shares.
Can I lose money as a backer?
Yes. When players win large prizes, the vault value decreases, which reduces your share value. Over time, fees are designed to offset player wins, but individual rounds can result in losses.
How do I withdraw my funds?
Request a withdrawal for your BPLPT shares
Wait for the current round to end
Claim your WHYPE
You cannot withdraw instantly—withdrawals process after the round ends.
Why can't I withdraw immediately?
The withdrawal queue protects all backers from unfair behavior. Without it, someone could withdraw right before a player wins to avoid losses.
Fees
What are the total fees?
Total fees are 15% of ticket purchases:
~10% to backers (liquidity providers)
5% to referrers
~1% to protocol (portion of backer fee)
Do I pay more if I use a referral link?
No. The referral fee comes from the existing fee structure, not from your ticket price.
